The display is dominated by a glass case containing an incredibly intricate and accurate scale model of Swaffham Town as it was in the 1930’s built by the Arts and Crafts teacher Harry Carter – a relative of Howard Carter - at the local Grammar School.
The wall and cabinet displays are changed through the year to present different stories of the life of the town – these will include illustrations from the diary of a Victorian girl, the sporting life of the town, and the Great Fire of Swaffham in 1775.
